Console Interface Overview
Beginning in Version 2.0, the Console has been broken in to 3 different sections, each with a Tab at the top of the screen.
Connection Manager -This is the screen you will see when starting the Console for the first time. From here you will be able to add Beyond Remote Hosts, Terminal Server and Windows XP computers running the built-in remote desktop. You will also be able to organize these remote computers in folders.
ReverseConnect - ReverseConnect is a new feature in Beyond Remote that allows a Host to initiate a Remote Control session to a Console, allowing the user at the Console to take over their machine. The ReverseConnect tab within the Console allows the user to initiate a remote support session with an e-mail invitation, begin listening for incoming connections, and manage open connections via the Active Connections window.
Preferences & Options - This tab allows a user to change settings such as the color theme of Beyond Remote, Server Status Polling, Global Options and also to access the Beyond Remote Help file.
