ReverseConnect IP Tools
To verify that you have implemented ReverseConnect correctly (forwarded the appropriate ports) you can use the ReverseConnect IP Tools to test your Internet connectivity. To use the IP Tools, simply mouse-over the ReverseConnect IP Tools button (seen here in red) from any one of the Console screens.
Once the IP Tools pane slides out, you can "pin" it down with the pin in the upper right hand corner.
IP Tools will list your Internet IP, also known as your external IP address, and will then list your internal IP addresses. To check to see if ReverseConnect is configured correctly, simply select the "Test Internet Connectivity" button. Beyond Remote will then look at the port you have selected to use in your ReverseConnect (the default will be 5425) settings and test to verify that traffic on this port is being forward to your computer.
