Host Interface Overview

When the Beyond Remote Host is installed on a computer you will see a new icon in the system tray ( ).  

To access the Host configuration you can double click the icon to bring up the Host configuration screen or you can right click the icon and a popup menu will appear.  With the popup menu you can select:
  • "Configure" which will take you to the Host configuration screen, 
  • "Shutdown Host" that will shutdown Beyond Remote until the next time you reboot your computer, 
  • "ReverseConnect", which will open the Remote Support function of the host
  • "About", which will show the "About" screen.  

    To manually start the Beyond Remote Host on Windows 98 or ME click on START | PROGRAMS | Beyond Remote | Beyond Remote Host, for Windows 2000, XP or 2003 use the services under administration to start the "Beyond Remote Host".
