Host General
This screen allows you to view the following:
Internet IP address: Your Internet IP address is determined by communicating with the Data Apples Host. Note: No personal information is sent during this communications nor is any type of information gathered. This is a service Data Apples provides you for free. In the event this computer does not have an Internet IP address "UNKNOWN" will be displayed.
Test Internet Connectivity: This button will instruct the Data Apples systems to attempt to connect to your Beyond Remote Host on the Internet IP address shown. This test will allow you to determine if you have your firewall configured correctly.
Local IP addresses: This is a list of all the IP addresses assigned to this computer. Most computers will only have one but some others like Hosts may have many and Beyond Remote will listen on all of them.
Active Connections: This is a list of all the remote Consoles connected to this Host by either viewing the live screen, transferring files or chatting.
